Interruption of Tren Mitre Services on Feb 8-9

On February 8 and 9, Trenes Argentinos has announced that it will make modifications to the Mitre Line routes heading to Retiro due to infrastructure work at the terminal entrance. During these two days, trains will operate with limited routes.

The services will be adapted as follows: the Tigre Branch will run between Belgrano C and Tigre, the José León Suárez Branch will operate between Belgrano R and Suárez, and the Bartolomé Mitre Branch will do so between Belgrano R and Mitre.

These works are part of the Railway Emergency declared by the National Government, aimed at increasing the safety and fluidity of the trains. However, in case of adverse weather conditions, activities may be suspended.

The works include the lateral and transversal channeling of the tracks to facilitate the installation of signaling and fiber optic cabling. To minimize inconvenience to passengers, the work is carried out on weekends.
